Limoncello is Aging!
So, I finally
started my first batch of limoncello (thanks to my buddy, K, for the vodka & lemons). This is day two, & the vodka has already taken on a pretty yellow cast. Don't the lemon peels look like rose petals??
My Petaluma bestie gave me the recipe when the monkey & I went to visit in December. The toughest part is scraping the white fleshy part off the lemon peels. In 7 days, I will boil sugar/water to make a syrup to add, then it will need to age another 20 days. Then, voila! Limoncello for K & me! BTW, @K: these bottles are made from recycled glass in Spain!
